Each year, one of the affiliated clubs is awarded the conduct of the QHMC Rally. This is the most prestigious rally conducted for Veteran, Vintage, Post Vintage and Historic vehicles in Queensland. The event is normally held over the Queens Birthday Week-end in June. For the last few years, the rally has been sponsored by the RACQ and called the 200X RACQ HMC Rally. The 2010 RACQ HMC Rally will be organised by the Bundaberg Vintage Vehicle Club. The 2010 rally will be conducted from 12th to 14th June in the Bundaberg area. Entrants can write to Bundaberg Vintage Vehicle Club at P.O. Box 1420 Bundaberg QLD 4670 or email the organising committee at ianjefferyes2@bigpond.com Planning is well advanced for this event. Prospective entrants should be looking at booking accommodation and entering the rally quite soon and book a place in the Rally using the Expression Of Interest form.The 2011 Rally will be conducted by the Darling Downs Veteran & Vintage Motor Club, PO Box 486, Toowoomba All affiliated clubs can apply to conduct the 2012 event, all that is needed is to email, or post your clubs proposal to the QHMC Secretary. |
